What a way to spend some time!

Hey Everyone - so someone suggested that I join in a L.O.A.D challenge for the month of October, it could be a scrap layout or a card etc a double layout was worth two days.  Sure I thought how hard could this be.....tell you what it's a good thing that I needed to produce a few extra cards for a gala coming up! 


I had great fun doing this though, such a good way to work on those decision making skills lol.


I know it's not October anymore and even though all my creations were shared with a LOAD Facebook group I thought I'd share a few here too.  Let me know which ones you prefer!

This was from a Trina Mclune kit but I loved the contrast of pretty pink flowery and the typical expression on my daughters face!

Feeling Sketchy Card #146 - Where there is love there is you

I've been needing some help getting a bit of motivation back and so thought I'd give some blog challenges a go again, nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing right!  So here is my take on the Feeling Sketchy #146 challenge I wanted to do something a bit different so created a Z fold card.  I used a Tim Holtz die to create some depth and texture in the background, stamping over the top of it and continuing this through onto the raised centre circle.  Completing the sketch with a floral stamped image which has also continued through to the next layer.  I really enjoyed giving this a go - thanks Feeling Sketchy!

Flora and Fauna - Southern Girls Challenge

Hi Everyone! Today I bring you my take on the Southern Girls Challenge theme of 'Flora and Fauna'. I've taken my own quirky take on the theme with my interpretation of fauna. So here is a definition that I found for fauna: Fauna - is all the animal life present in a particular region or time. 'I Love You - Even when you're hangry'                    So this special moment was captured on a visit to our local Zoo, at this point my daughter had a bad case of the 'Hangers' (Hungry Angers) ....which pretty much turned her into an animal! I love how this soft floral layout just seems to work for this. For this layout I have used: Kaisercraft - High Tea paper collection Kaisercraft - High Tea collectables MFT - Sassy Pants Best Friends stamp set Waffle flower - Flutter stamp set I'd love to see your take on this theme! Love is in the air - LCC

Welcome to 2020!  What a better way to welcome the new year with a Lets craft and create challenge of 'Love is n the air'. For this months challenge I created a love themed album to be given to a couple on their wedding day.  Thankfully the wedding has now taken place and I can share these pictures with you all now!
