Paper Smooches Digi Stamps - attempt 1

As I was looking through Facebook the other day a notification from Paper Smooches popped up for a Guest Designer for a month - curious I went and had a look as I have often looked at the Paper Smooches stamps and even own some of their dies.  Great value products by the way :)  Anyway....I thought why not give it a go, nothing to lose and some great cards to gain.  I've never used Digi Stamps before and the site offered some for free, so I jumped on in boots n all.
I also just wanted to say that I don't have all the latest and greatest of colouring products so I think that this is a good display to showcase that you can produce some great images with only a few resources at your disposal.  Hope you enjoy!
One of the great things that I found with the digi stamps is that I could re-size it.

I used some watercolour paint for the background and added some stamped stars, lightly embossing them in silver for a bit of shimmer.  I coloured the little critter using Reno Alcohol pens.



Here I wanted to really make the most of the stamp so I used for the entire background, adding again just a little bit of shimmer with some glitter.

I've been needing some help getting a bit of motivation back and so thought I'd give some blog challenges a go again, nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing right!  So here is my take on the Feeling Sketchy #146 challenge I wanted to do something a bit different so created a Z fold card.  I used a Tim Holtz die to create some depth and texture in the background, stamping over the top of it and continuing this through onto the raised centre circle.  Completing the sketch with a floral stamped image which has also continued through to the next layer.  I really enjoyed giving this a go - thanks Feeling Sketchy!

Flora and Fauna - Southern Girls Challenge

Hi Everyone! Today I bring you my take on the Southern Girls Challenge theme of 'Flora and Fauna'. I've taken my own quirky take on the theme with my interpretation of fauna. So here is a definition that I found for fauna: Fauna - is all the animal life present in a particular region or time. 'I Love You - Even when you're hangry'                    So this special moment was captured on a visit to our local Zoo, at this point my daughter had a bad case of the 'Hangers' (Hungry Angers) ....which pretty much turned her into an animal! I love how this soft floral layout just seems to work for this. Love is in the air - LCC

Welcome to 2020!  What a better way to welcome the new year with a Lets craft and create challenge of 'Love is n the air'. For this months challenge I created a love themed album to be given to a couple on their wedding day.  Thankfully the wedding has now taken place and I can share these pictures with you all now! This album has been created using the 'Romantique' collection from Kaisercraft.
