Autumn Escape 2017- #Awesome

I don't tend to go to a lot of retreats or scrap camps, and if I do I kinda expect a lot, I really have to be drawn in by the tutors.  So when my scrapping buddy pointed out who the tutors were going to be for Autumn Escape 2017,  it was a quick google search on each of them to check out their styles - they got the tick of approval and hey presto we were all signed up. 


The first completed layout that I have to show you is from Natalie May's class #Awesome - a Layout using 7Dots Studio paper, Imaginarium Designs custom chipboard & Lindys Stamp Gang Sprays.


Love a bit of masculine grunge!




Now glitter and sparkle doesn't normally sound masculine does it, but look how lovely these Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays look.

 I love the out going personalities of creative people - and this definitely was the case here.

The picture to the right is an awesome hand painted case that I won as a give away in Natalie's class - lovely bright and vibrant just like her.

Feeling Sketchy Card #146 - Where there is love there is you

I've been needing some help getting a bit of motivation back and so thought I'd give some blog challenges a go again, nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing right!  So here is my take on the Feeling Sketchy #146 challenge I wanted to do something a bit different so created a Z fold card.  I used a Tim Holtz die to create some depth and texture in the background, stamping over the top of it and continuing this through onto the raised centre circle.  Completing the sketch with a floral stamped image which has also continued through to the next layer.  I really enjoyed giving this a go - thanks Feeling Sketchy!

Welcome to 2020!  What a better way to welcome the new year with a Lets craft and create challenge of 'Love is n the air'. For this months challenge I created a love themed album to be given to a couple on their wedding day.  Thankfully the wedding has now taken place and I can share these pictures with you all now! This album has been created using the 'Romantique' collection from Kaisercraft.

Flora and Fauna - Southern Girls Challenge

Hi Everyone! Today I bring you my take on the Southern Girls Challenge theme of 'Flora and Fauna'. I've taken my own quirky take on the theme with my interpretation of fauna. So here is a definition that I found for fauna: Fauna - is all the animal life present in a particular region or time. 'I Love You - Even when you're hangry'                    So this special moment was captured on a visit to our local Zoo, at this point my daughter had a bad case of the 'Hangers' (Hungry Angers) ....which pretty much turned her into an animal! I love how this soft floral layout just seems to work for this.
