Me

My name is Tammy I live in Palmerston North, New Zealand. I have two beautiful yet often crazy kids, three cats, two dogs and oddly enough though only one husband.
I have a small craft room off my lounge which I discovered that if I pinch the bathroom door key I can actually lock myself in there – it’s my happy place and comes fitted a flat screen TV, and a window. What more could a girl ask for right.

I love doing a real mixture of crafts and love giving things a go – a lot of my creations end up in the local markets……it’s also how I fund my crafting habit.

When I’m not crafting I can be found either at the dance studio with the kids (can’t dance to save myself but I love watching them), out walking with the dogs, running or playing soccer.  I’m apparently what is called an active relaxer!

Like most things in life my blog is a work in progress.  I hope to be adding a lot of new creations along the way, share some tips and tricks and maybe even overshare about some other aspects of my life!

Feeling Sketchy Card #146 - Where there is love there is you

I've been needing some help getting a bit of motivation back and so thought I'd give some blog challenges a go again, nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing right!  So here is my take on the Feeling Sketchy #146 challenge I wanted to do something a bit different so created a Z fold card.  I used a Tim Holtz die to create some depth and texture in the background, stamping over the top of it and continuing this through onto the raised centre circle.  Completing the sketch with a floral stamped image which has also continued through to the next layer.  I really enjoyed giving this a go - thanks Feeling Sketchy!

Welcome to 2020!  What a better way to welcome the new year with a Lets craft and create challenge of 'Love is n the air'. For this months challenge I created a love themed album to be given to a couple on their wedding day.  Thankfully the wedding has now taken place and I can share these pictures with you all now! This album has been created using the 'Romantique' collection from Kaisercraft.

Flora and Fauna - Southern Girls Challenge

Hi Everyone! Today I bring you my take on the Southern Girls Challenge theme of 'Flora and Fauna'. I've taken my own quirky take on the theme with my interpretation of fauna. So here is a definition that I found for fauna: Fauna - is all the animal life present in a particular region or time. 'I Love You - Even when you're hangry'                    So this special moment was captured on a visit to our local Zoo, at this point my daughter had a bad case of the 'Hangers' (Hungry Angers) ....which pretty much turned her into an animal! I love how this soft floral layout just seems to work for this.
