Challenge #141 - Friendship

Welcome to the 'Lets craft and Create' challenge!  This months theme is Friendship - something to be valued and treasured.  I love that I have a wide variety of friends and I love that I can appreciate each of them in very different ways.  Now not to get too mushy here, I have to admit that one of the things that I love the most about my closest friends is the banter that we engage in - I've been told that I can be rather sarcastic at time but my closest friends well they like it...I think lol.

So with all of that in mind I present my inspiration piece for this months challenge.


I've used a stamp from aall and create #86 by Fiona Paltridge.  I met Fiona at a scrapbooking event here in New Zealand while with a group of my friends.  So I thought this one was quite fitting :)

The statement that I have used is from My Favourite Things - Sassy Pants Best Friends.  I love these statements - and this one in particular made me think of my bestie straight away.

Feeling Sketchy Card #146 - Where there is love there is you

I've been needing some help getting a bit of motivation back and so thought I'd give some blog challenges a go again, nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing right!  So here is my take on the Feeling Sketchy #146 challenge I wanted to do something a bit different so created a Z fold card.  I used a Tim Holtz die to create some depth and texture in the background, stamping over the top of it and continuing this through onto the raised centre circle.  Completing the sketch with a floral stamped image which has also continued through to the next layer.  I really enjoyed giving this a go - thanks Feeling Sketchy!

Welcome to 2020!  What a better way to welcome the new year with a Lets craft and create challenge of 'Love is n the air'. For this months challenge I created a love themed album to be given to a couple on their wedding day.  Thankfully the wedding has now taken place and I can share these pictures with you all now! This album has been created using the 'Romantique' collection from Kaisercraft.

Flora and Fauna - Southern Girls Challenge

Hi Everyone! Today I bring you my take on the Southern Girls Challenge theme of 'Flora and Fauna'. I've taken my own quirky take on the theme with my interpretation of fauna. So here is a definition that I found for fauna: Fauna - is all the animal life present in a particular region or time. 'I Love You - Even when you're hangry'                    So this special moment was captured on a visit to our local Zoo, at this point my daughter had a bad case of the 'Hangers' (Hungry Angers) ....which pretty much turned her into an animal! I love how this soft floral layout just seems to work for this.
